Elsewedy Industrial Development and Xinmin Glass Launch USD 70 Million Manufacturing Project at SOKHNA360

Today, Elsewedy Industrial Development marked a major milestone with the laying of the foundation stone for the new Xinmin Glass factory, a leading Chinese glass manufacturer, within SOKHNA360 Industrial City.

The project covers 163,000 m² and is planned to reach a total investment of approximately USD 70 million across three phases.

The event was attended by Dr. Tarek El-Shazly, Governor of Suez; Ahmed Gamal, Vice Chairman for the Southern Zone; Eng. Mohamed AlKammah, CEO of Elsewedy Industrial Development; Mr. Zhao Xinmin, CEO of Xinmin China; Mr. Mohamed Mostafa, CFO of Elsewedy Industrial Development; Eng. Islam Soliman, General Manager of Projects; and Ms. Yara Adel, Head of Sales and Business Development.

Upon completion of all phases, the factory aims to achieve an annual production capacity of 360,000 tons, generate about USD 250 million in yearly revenue, and create more than 3,000 direct job opportunities in the local market.
