Elsewedy Industrial Development Signs MoU to Develop Integrated Industrial and Logistics Hub in the Golden Triangle

Elsewedy Industrial Development has signed an MoU with the General Authority of the Golden Triangle Economic Zone to develop a fully integrated, sustainable industrial and logistics hub in Safaga, Red Sea Governorate, strategically located within the Golden Triangle.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Ahmed Elsewedy, President & CEO of ElSewedy Electric, and Eng. Mohamed Ali Abady, Chairman of the Golden Triangle Economic Zone Authority, in the presence of Mohamed Abou El-Ghait, Deputy Chairman of the Authority, Eng. Mohamed ElKammah, CEO of Elsewedy Industrial Development; Mohamed Mostafa, CFO of Elsewedy Industrial Development; Eng. Tarek El Hawary, Managing Director of TAQA Gas, and Eng. Sami Abdel Kader, Managing Director of TAQA Power.

The hub will host diverse industries, from mining, engineering, and manufacturing to chemicals and food processing, with world-class infrastructure, modern utilities, and sustainable smart systems. It will attract local and foreign investments, create thousands of jobs, and enhance Upper Egypt’s contribution to Egypt’s national industrial output, in line with Vision 2030.

With its prime location near Safaga Port and access to Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, the project will serve as a strategic export gateway and an engine for sustainable industrial growth in Upper Egypt.
