Telecom Egypt “WE” partners with Elsewedy Industrial Development to provide integrated telecommunications services and smart city solutions in Sokhna 360 City.
Telecom Egypt “WE,” the leading provider of telecommunications and information technology services in Egypt, has signed a cooperation agreement with Elsewedy Industrial Development to provide integrated telecom services and smart city solutions in Sokhna 360 City, located within the Suez Canal Economic Zone.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Mohamed Nasr, Managing Director and CEO of Telecom Egypt, and Eng. Mohamed AlKammah, CEO of Elsewedy Electric’s Infrastructure Investments Sector, in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Elsewedy, CEO and Managing Director of Elsewedy Electric.
Under the agreement, Telecom Egypt “WE” will implement the technological infrastructure for Sokhna 360 City, deploying fiber-optic networks to deliver high-speed internet, providing smart city services, and ensuring comprehensive integrated telecom services for the project. The agreement also includes constructing mobile signal towers and stations and implementing a smart points network throughout the project.
Eng. Mohamed Nasr, Managing Director and CEO of Telecom Egypt, stated:
